Two people arrested in connection with the June 10th discovery of dozens of dead or mistreated animals in an apartment on South Second Street in New Bedford, have now been indicted by a Bristol County Grand Jury.

Sabrina Harding and Jake Brousseau are facing six counts each of animal cruelty. Each could face up to seven years in state prison if convicted in Superior Court. No arraignment date has been set.

District Attorney Thomas Quinn says "allegations contained in the indictments are very disturbing and extremely offensive to a civilized society. Quinn says his office will vigorously prosecute those types of cases.
