A New Bedford man wanted in connection with a variety of serious and violent crimes was taken into custody in Dartmouth early Tuesday morning.

Brian Iliffe, 19, was wanted on three outstanding felony warrants associated with robbery, home invasion, kidnapping, assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and breaking and entering, according to Dartmouth Police.

At approximately 6 a.m. on Sept. 8, Dartmouth detectives working with members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section took Iliffe into custody.

Police say that Iliffe had been staying with a friend on Rogers Street in Dartmouth.
