
Alleged Fall River Burlington Stabbers Arrested
FALL RIVER — Fall River Police arrested three suspects after two men were stabbed Friday night outside the Burlington retail store at 181 Mariano Bishop Boulevard.
Arrested were Anibal Junior Santiago, 22; Jams Anibal Santiago-Isaac, 18; and Reynaldo Santiago, 21; all of 33 Stewart St. in Fall River.
The three were involved in a fight at the entrance to the store, and two men were stabbed, according to a media release from Fall River Police, who were dispatched to the scene around 8:12 p.m.
Both victims were transported to Rhode Island Hospital, one with life-threatening injuries to the torso. Both victims were subsequently stabilized.
Officers and detectives interviewed witnesses and procured surveillance video. They were able to locate and detain three suspects inside a vehicle on Stewart Street. The incident remains under investigation by the department's Major Crimes Division.
The three suspects are each charged with one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious injury, and one count of assault and battery.
The men were due to be arraigned this morning.
