Airplane Crash at Rural Cemetery in New Bedford [VIDEO]

NEW BEDFORD — An airplane has crashed this afternoon at the Rural Cemetary in New Bedford.

WBSM News is currently in the scene and at this time, has unconfirmed reports of the plane being a single-engine Cessna with an unknown number of passengers.

There is also an unconfirmed report of one fatality.

Witnesses have reported that the plane appeared to be flying low in a side-ways like position.

The New Bedford Regional Airport has confirmed an "off-airport accident." Further details could not be provided at this time.
