Ben Affleck To Receive Honorary Degree At Brown

Oscar winner Ben Affleck is taking the stage at Rhode Island's Brown University this weekend.

The "Argo" star is set to receive an honorary doctorate during the school's commencement ceremonies on Sunday. Brown's website says Affleck will be awarded an honorary doctorate in fine arts.

Affleck directed and starred in the Iran-hostage drama "Argo," which won Best Picture at this year's Academy Awards. He and pal Matt Damon also shared an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for 1997's "Good Will Hunting."
