New Bedford area residents are encouraged to attend an informational meeting Tuesday night, regarding the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center will update the public on the construction of the project, and answer any questions the public may have.

John "Buddy" Andrade of the Old Bedford Village Association says people looking to find employment on the job site should attend, especially those who've already inquired.

Andrade says he's not aware of anybody locally that has received employment as the terminal is constructed.

The meeting takes place Tuesday, June 2 at 6pm at the Alfred J. Gomes School on South Second Street in New Bedford.
