Is Dance Moms Star Abby Lee Miller Joining Real Housewives of RI?

Could Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller be the newest addition to the Real Housewives of Rhode Island? It's not as far-fetched as you may think. After sitting down for an interview with Page Six, co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real asked if she would be interested in joining the hit Bravo show.

A Potential Call From Bravo Producers

"Does the concept of idea of reality tv ever excite you...to go back and join an ensemble?" Murphy asked. It was then that Miller brought up Real Housewives and confirmed that she has actually received a phone call about the Rhode Island franchise. "We're working out logistics, but I'll do it," she revealed.

Fitting Into the Ocean State Drama

Though she doesn't live in the area (she splits her time between L.A. and Pittsburgh), her persona could actually fit in nicely. Being a dance teacher and former studio owner, Miller could be the dance instructor for Alicia Carmody's daughter, Celine. "She's a star. She seems like an icon," Murphy said during the interview. "I need you to be a friend of the housewives."

From Dance Moms to Federal Prison and Beyond

Miller is no stranger to reality TV world. She starred in Dance Moms for many seasons, starting with the show back in 2011. She departed during Season 7 ahead of her prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud and failing to report about $755,000 of income. She later returned for Season 8 following her release.

Most recently she's been filming a brand new dance competition show Hit the 8! alongside longtime rival and Candy Apples Dance Studio owner Cathy Nesbitt-Stein.

Still, it may just be a matter of time before we start seeing the Dance Moms alum pop up around the Ocean State. Looks like local fans will just have to wait and see if Abby Lee will be holding a coveted RHORI oyster in seasons to come.
