Fatal Crash in Westport Leaves One Motorcyclist Dead

A fatal crash in Westport claimed the life of a motorcycle rider early Sunday morning.

According to NBC10 in Providence, police said a pickup truck was driving on Route 177 and turning onto Tickle Road when it collided with a motorcycle.

The motorcycle ended up in the woods and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not been identified. It was not known if the driver of the pickup truck faces any charges.
