The New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center will be a busy place in February.

The Center is offering a host of programs planned for young and old during the month, including two "Lobster Days" presentations (Feb 20 and 21) during the school vacation week.  The program is in collaboration with the Massachusetts Lobstermen's Association.
Other events include concerts, fishing-related films and a discussion about waterfront photos taken by Phil Mello. On February 13 at 7 p.m., Mello will present “Working on the Waterfront: Stories Behind the Images,” an illustrated talk about shore side industries in New Bedford.
