WAREHAM — Four men face charges after police raid an apartment in Wareham.

Wareham Police, with assistance from Bourne Police and Massachusetts State Police, executed a search warrant at Apartment 52 of the Woods at Wareham housing complex at 48 Swifts Beach Road at about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The warrant was obtained following a joint investigation into a drug operation being run out of the home.

As a result of the search, police recovered 40 grams of Fentanyl, multiple digital scales, sandwich bags, nearly $2,000 in cash, and other paraphernalia consistent with the sale of illegal narcotics. Police say the Fentanyl has an estimated street value of $4,000.

Four men in the home at the time of the search were placed under arrest and charged:

  • Isaiah Lopes, 27, of 48 Swifts Beach Road, Apartment 52, Wareham, is charged with possession of a Class “A” substance with intent to distribute, subsequent offense.
  • Jules Tavares, 26, of no certain address, is charged with trafficking in Fentanyl.
  • Malcom Colson, 62, of 48 Swifts Beach Road, Apartment 52, Wareham, is charged with, possession of a Class “A” substance with intent to distribute, subsequent offense.
  • Timothy Harper Jr., 21, of 27 Heather Hill Road, Buzzards Bay, was placed into custody on a separate warrant during the raid.

All four men are due to appear in Wareham District Court for arraignment on Wednesday morning.
