So, uh, the weather dude just said it gets really cold on Friday. Well, please define for me really cold. Uh, because if this isn't really cold and 25° to 30° tonight, that if that's not really cold, what is really cold? I'd like to know. Maybe I don't want to know. I don't know. But that's coming up on Friday. Really cold. Well, I guess we have to adapt, right? It is that time of year. Um, so anyway, President Trump is going to have a uh an announcement at 2:30. That's Trump time, so I doubt we'll get chance to uh to to know what's going on before I leave the airwaves today. Uh, but it has to do with affordability and an affordability effort uh to make life more affordable for you. And so I can't wait. I always love to hear things that make my life easier. So that's coming up at 2:30. If we can get it on, we'll get it on. I'm not sure if we're going to be able to though. Um, but anyway, Trump said yesterday once again that he is looking to do away with the income tax, the federal income tax. Wouldn't that be groovy? No more federal income tax. President said, you know, you'd be able to keep all of the money that you earn while you work. But no, he forgets that we live in the People's Republic of Morahily and they suck it right out of us at the state levels. Yeah. Um, so Trump suggested yesterday during that cabinet meeting that Americans may quote not even have income tax to pay end quote in the near future, saying tariff driven revenue could allow for the historic elimination of the federal income tax under his tenure. Still hate those tariffs. Trump told a press gaggle, I don't know if you know what a press gaggle is. Press gaggle is when uh all of the press stand around a news maker with their microphones and and everything in their face and ask questions. That's a press gaggle. Not to be confused with a press conference where uh the president or somebody else might be standing behind a podium or might be standing a distance away. It's when the the press gets all around him like in a circle. That's a press gaggle. Like a gaggle of geese, right? Um anyway, Trump told a press gaggle after his cabinet meeting that at some point in the not tooistant future, you won't even have income tax to pay, arguing that revenue the government is collecting under his administration is now quote so great, so enormous. Whether you get rid of it or just keep it around for a fun or have it really low, much lower than it is now, but you won't be paying income tax. Drop at it. If enacted, abolishing income tax would mark the most ambitious overhaul of the American tax system in more than a century. Trump's repeated public support for replacing income tax with tariffs makes this the most explicit endorsement yet of getting rid of income tax. Earlier in the second administration, the president floated a tax plan eliminating income tax for individuals earning under $150,000 with tariffs proposed as a um as a replacement. It's time for the United States to return to the system that made us richer and more powerful than ever before. Trump said back in January, "Instead of taxing our citizens to enrich foreign nations, we should be tariffing and taxing foreign nations to enrich our citizens." When asked if he was serious about eliminating personal income tax by podcaster Joe Rogan, then candidate Trump responded, "Yeah, sure. Why not?" and said tariffs could fund the government instead of wage taxes. I just love this guy. So, the White House has launched something. This is kind of interesting to think about. It's kind of a snitch line. Never been a big fan of snitch lines, but you know, I think um I think maybe the media needs its comeuppance here. And there's no criminal aspect to this. So, it might be just some some fun. But, um we've seen snitch lies, right? We we employed snitch lies right here in Massachusetts. If you see your neighbor going out without his mask or having a party or letting nana and grandpa come for Thanksgiving dinner, call up and snitch him out. Remember we did that here. Many states did under co. Now we got a new snitch line. The White House is launching a quote media bias offender tip line. A media bias offender tip line. I hope they have a lot of operators. And this encourages everyday Americans to submit news stories they believe are biased with a stated goal of holding the fake news accountable. Beneath a banner reading a call to action, submit media bias tips. The White House website explains that uh to support its media bias portal, which debuted last week. It needs the public's help in submitting misleading and biased news. Now, they're doing a pretty good job. They have a um they have a factchecking crew at the White House that goes through all of the national news, fact checks it and responds to it immediately, which you need to do because you remember um you know during various political campaigns who was worse than Mitt Romney, right? Mitt Romney who I thought was a terrible president candidate anyway, presidential candidate. They could say whatever they want about Mitt Romney. Remember Harry Reid? Oh, he's never paid any income tax. Um, he used to tie his dog to the roof of the station wagon and take the family on vacation. Remember that? Mitt Romney didn't respond. George W. Bush didn't respond when they made outrageous allegations against him, too. They figured that the people would be too sensible to possibly believe any of that stuff. But we have seen um over the last 10 years that um the media has made a career out of smearing people and the White House wants to call it out. So they've been doing that. They've got an actual office that uh you know takes a look at the news and um and and responds to it when it's fake. You may have heard Caroline Levit do that yesterday. She called out the New York Times and a couple of other um publications for absolute fake news. U and she was talking about how uh you know somebody unnamed at a government office or agency or whatever will call the New York Times or the Washington Post and say, "Hey, this is what's going on." And and the press um just runs this story and and never verifies it. It's fake news. And you know, the problem with that is it gets picked up by other publications and in smaller markets like ours because we really don't have a news meter anymore. You know, Sand Times will grab anything uh that they find off of the wires and just print it. TV does the same. If you ever watch uh any of the local TV stations, they just uh you know, rip and read the same stuff off the wire. You can you can watch all three of the Providence stations and the same exact story, same wording and everything. They rip it off the wire. half the time it's not true or it's biased or whatever, but they're not intelligent enough to know that or to question it. They just run it. If it's on the Washington Post, it's got to be true. Came over the AP wire, it's got to be true. And those are some of the biggest um lying news media outlets there are. But you know the problem is you see a lot of it on the um on the local level too where where and for example I give an example every now and then of the site that I visit every day because I want to get the other side of the story but it's a it's a Springfield-based um mass live mass live and you can find it online but they give they're one of the few outlets out there that cover the state house and they actually put statewide news on it as Well, and you look at some of the headlines that are completely misleading, but almost everything they write is left-leaning and a lot of it is untrue and they print rumors. Again, unsubstantiated. I saw a story on the Associated Press yesterday. Well, let me get let me finish what I saying though about Mass Live. Mass Live. Um, so while the the the the White House press office can catch a lot of what's going on in the national level, they don't catch um they're not able to catch they don't have the ability to catch all of the local and statewide stuff. So that's why they need people to turn turn in their uh left-wing uh newspapers and media um so that they can respond to it. But um anyway, I saw a piece on the Associated Press yesterday about um uh maybe it was this morning about um the uh bombing of ships, boats off Colombia and the story uh from the Associated Press, bold headline, if the White House really did strike that Colombian boat two times, then experts say that is a violation of um war crimes. So I said, "Well, this is interesting. I want to see who these experts are." Well, they don't identify the experts and they never make mention again of the experts in the story. They just put their spin on it and their point of view on it and that's it. Experts experts say this is a war crime. Well, who are these experts? So, this is, you know, I think in in a way it's kind of humorous, but also um um it is important. Um, so it's asking for your help. It's got a hotline on on the website. You can go to the the White House website. The White House recently launched a media bias portal as a service to truth and transparency. Purpose is to combat the baseless lies, purportedly omitted content, and outright left-wing lunacy of the fake news media. a toll task that demands the help of everyone who believes in facts and accuracy over fake news. According to the website, according to the White House, so-called journalists have made it impossible to identify every false or misleading story, which is why help from the American people is essential to this mission. The days of the fake news media controlling the narrative with lies, fake anonymous sources, and willful bias are over. White House statement continued, "If the legacy media will not honor their responsibility to accurately inform the public, we know the American people will." A link is provided to a submission page where the public is called on to quote, "Help expose the worst of the worse and report stories they feel are biased to be featured in the media bias portal." If you know of any media outlet misrepresenting the Trump administration and skewing the truth, link the article below for our team to review. The submission page reads, "Don't let them continue to spread lies. Fill out the form below." Wow. So, the um media offender of the week website debuted last week and it most recently referred to as the media bias portal dedicated to calling out what the uh what it describes as the fake news media. It's pretty cool. At the top of the page, a banner reading misleading, biased, exposed. introduces a section that highlights media outlets and reporters including CBS News, The Independent, and the Boston Globe. site claims the media misrepresented President Trump's call from members of Congress to be held accountable for inciting sedition by saying that he called for their execution, which is not quite what he said, referring to the ongoing conversation over a viral video in which six Democrat members of Congress urged US service members to refuse illegal orders. Aside from these three outlets listed at the top of the page, the site also features an offender hall of shame that includes CNN, MS Now, formerly MSNBC, the Washington Post, and for a second time CBS News. Below the hall of shame, users are presented with um claim with claims from various outlets that the site categorizes under labels such as bias, lie, malpractice, and left-wing lunacy, among others. Now, sounds like a lot of fun, right? It's on the White House website. Check it out. You can certainly find a lot of that. and local and state media. Boston Globe has called out. Trump never said that the six senators and representatives should be executed. What he said was that this was treason and in the old days they would have been hung. That's not calling for their execution. The media doesn't care. When you're dealing with um lowinformation voters in many cases who want to believe the worse, it's easy to get away with that kind of stuff. Um the company is Sincor Cyn capital Q. This manufactures power converters for the military, industrial, uh, transportation, telecom, and, uh, medical industries. It'll be closing its Boxboro Corporate headquarters and moving to Salem, New Hampshire. According to the enterprise, um, 250 employees would be laid off from the Massachusetts facility between February 1 and April 1, 26. All positions would be transferred to the new location, including the company's president, chief financial officer, director of sales, and 86 production production assemblers. According to the enterprise, employees will be given two months notice before they are expected to relocate. The company was founded in 1997 and originally housed its manufacturing in Hudson, according to the company's website. Uh current headquarters are at um are in Boxboro. And I think about dog training. [clears throat] May it may not be the most sensitive analogy, but I think about a dog. They call it dog training. For a while, I try to figure out what the what do they actually train the dog to do. The dog isn't really being trained. And maybe at the higher levels like Bons, you know, police departments and stuff like that. Maybe up at those levels, the dogs can actually discriminate to some effect, some some extent. But I think for by and large dog training is nothing more than instilling habits in a dog. I I have a I have a dog. He's a guard dog. But I mean if I walk the same way out of the cellar every morning to bring him outside, he goes the same way every day. There's a there's another big wide open door on a few feet away. But he won't go that way because he has the habit of going in and out the way that I I bring him that I've instilled into him. That's called training. I guess some in dogs. Okay. >> Yeah. >> I think I think that's what we have here with the Democratic voter voter base in uh in Massachusetts and you you referred to it a little while ago as low information voters. I think they are they're low information voters and they simply been trained. So you can hold, you know, if you train a dog well, he's going to refuse a piece of meat because they want to train him not to attack, not to go eat any meat that has poison in it. Somebody might throw over the fence for him. You train him well. You go look at a piece of meat that looks really good and he won't touch it. You train these voters how to vote, when to vote, who to vote for, who to listen to. That's all they do. There's no discrimination. >> Well, this has been a this has been and and that's a great analogy and and this has been a part of what they do. Um, and they've been doing it for decades and it's worked successfully uh to keep everybody on the plantation and to keep everybody voting, you know, exactly the way they want them. So, take let's, you know, you brought up the more Healy's re-election and and Steve said that the the bettererss right now are are predicting Healey uh 97% is going to be reelected. And I I believe that I believe that to be true unless you know the thing is anything can happen tomorrow, right? Anything can happen tomorrow change all of that. based on what we know today. First of all, the Republicans are their own worst enemy. So, they're not even putting up a strong fight out there. But also, you know, I said this from day one. I told you this was going to happen and it's happening. The Healey administration had like the National Democrat party. They have nothing to run on. It's all failure. So, they're going to run against Trump and she's running against Trump. everything that's going on rather, you know, and you know, the reason why we have a an immigration crisis in this country, it's Trump's fault. Uh the reason why energy prices are high, it's Trump's fault. Um and so on and so forth all the way down the line. Now, if you don't um question that, which the media doesn't, and the media goes out and backs that up and presents that, um it's very easy to to keep that dog trained and keep that dog in line because >> keep that keep the habit ingrained. >> It's reinforcement, right? It's just simply reinforcement of the original training. And that's exactly what happens here. >> Absolutely. Sad state of affairs. And when you don't have people that that that are, you know, when I said lowinformation voters, that's actually something I stole from Rush Limba years ago. Um Rush Limba used to call because people don't take the time to study the issues and they take what's handed to them and they believe it and they swallow it up. So if you got a bunch of lowinformation voters, more Healey isn't saying, "Well, Brian Schwarzle is going to do this and my policy is better." Um or so on and so forth. She's saying Trump, Trump, Trump. Everything's Trump. And uh you know and in the same thing with Ayanna Presley um and in the same thing with uh you know when Ayanna Presley announced today that she wasn't going to run for the Senate, she she's decided two things. Well, I've still got a daughter living at home and I got to fight Trump in the house. It's all about Trump. And you know, um the attorney general, Andrea Campbell, Trump, Trump, Trump. Got to sue Trump. Sue Trump. Sue Trump. Never mind the audits not being conducted. And I'm not doing my job by forcing the legislature to open the books. It's Trump Trump Trump. And the media just feeds that stuff out there. And I was talking about accuracy in media a little while ago. And if the the Boston Globe and every single television station within the sound of our voice here is running the same old anti-Trump message every day, people buy it and they take Mora Healey's stuff and they put it out there as though it's the truth. You know, Mora Healey gets away with saying, "Remember, I stopped two gas pipelines from coming into Massachusetts." She said that three years ago and and and she's on tape now. She can come out and say, "Well, I never said that." And nobody in the media is calling her on it. >> You know, Barry, [clears throat] you put um excuse me, you put the low information uh voter point together with the uh high train highly trainability point together. Y >> you put those two things those two things together and I think maybe you get an explanation for why we used to for a while we were running into like if we prior to Trump uh regaining the presidency we're running into like people like if you you question them on why they were anti-Trump this or anti-Trump policy this or something like they had no answer >> no nothing nothing >> they're just trained >> well they have there's nothing below the surface they might come out and And you say, "Well, why are you anti-Trump?" Well, no kings. >> Well, what do you mean no kings? What? But but but they can't get below the surface. That's the message that they've been given as part of their training. You [clears throat] know, that dog can't tell you why he's not going through the bigger door. He only knows that small door. That's it. I've been told small door. So, that's what I do. >> And that's what the people do. And and you can't get them to rationally and logically think about things. Um, the media is feeding them a bunch of malarkey and the politicians are lying right out there and and nobody's calling them on it. Low information voters more interested in knowing about bad puppy singing at the a bad doggy or bad puppy singing at the halftime show or whatever the hell he is. Because she can say whatever she wants and she gets away with it. Nobody questions it. Nobody calls her on it. The news media isn't intelligent enough. And the people have been uh if you will brainwashed or as the last gentleman said trained to just believe what they hear. So I believe that Moraley right now has a 97% um chance of getting reelected again. And she knows that too. She's not stupid. All she has to do every now and then she, you know, she holds a little news conference and says, "Well, we're going to study these high energy prices and it's all damn Trump's fault anyway." and uh and you know, we're gonna get back to you. We're gonna form a study committee. Oh, and by the way, we'll give you a $50 rebate on last April's ch uh uh gas bill and Oh, I got 50 bucks. Oh my god, what a what a goddess. Right. More Healy's the goddess. Because people are basically stupid. They they really are. I I you know, I I hate to be unkind. I don't get invited to a lot of parties because I'm uh I'm pretty truthful with what I say. And it's it's I it is the truth. People are pretty stupid. I mean, how can you take what's going on in this state and continue to put it back in power of your money? Put it in charge of your money. These people are running all your offices. They're running your government. They're running your trains. They're running your highways. They're running um you know, and and you just keep putting them back in. They lie to you. They misspend your money. They raise your taxes because you're conditioned. You're conditioned and you have become so unwilling to even investigate what's true and what's not true or question it. those who even bother to watch the news, they're being fed and and you can't see through it, right? I it just blows my mind. I mean, as clear as I I I don't even can't give you another example is better. Mora Healey, the videotape has been everywhere. Every single one of you people are on social media. You've all seen the video. I've played the audio of it on the station god knows how many times with Mory Healey saying remember I stopped two natural gas pipelines from coming into Massachusetts. You can see the video. You can hear the audio. It's all over. Oh, I didn't say that. I didn't do that. Trump's fault. It's all Trump's fault. Your energy prices are high in Massachusetts. Trump's fault. And it's going to get worse, folks. She is going to be running against Trump. She's not going to run against short sleeve or um Manugg or uh Connealy, whoever the the Republican nominee is. I hear somebody else maybe getting in on the Republican side. She's not going to run against him. She doesn't have to. The party is an empty vessel. It has no ideas. All it can do is try to discredit the other side, block the other side, shut down the government, yell racism, yell war crimes. Meanwhile, Tim Waltz is stealing every nickel that they ever made in Minnesota. Cahoots with the Chinese, cahoots with the Somali, and most of the media is not even covering this. Can you believe that? Most of the media is not even covering what's going on in Minnesota right now. ABC, CBS, NBC haven't given it a minute. Not a second of coverage. So that they did a highlight section on different people who were makers and they had this one Vietnamese person. I don't know if it was a woman that loo a guy who was supposed to be a woman or vice versa, but they referred to themselves as they, their read like that, your brain goes haywire because you're like, what is wrong with this? They, they said, you know what? this person has got a serious mental issue because they are not a they uh it's I don't know what it is but it's just I mean we are living in such crazy times but Mara Healey I agree with you I cannot stand that woman I can't stand her to think the audacity that she has to lie to us about stopping those two gas pipelines from coming into Massachusetts and then tell people that we need more energy she's the one who stopped the energy from coming and then she has the gall to say when um the food when people didn't get their SNAP benefits which was due to the Democrats, she was saying Donald Trump do your job. It's like what are you talking about? You know, and if people don't recognize the insanity of Mara Healey, I mean, I don't know what to tell you. There's something really wrong with you. >> Well, it's the insanity of the entire Democrat party because they're all doing the same thing. None of them are running on a platform of new ideas. they are running um against Trump. No matter whether it be a congressional seat or a you know a Senate seat or or whatever or governorship, they are running against Trump. That is all they have. >> But Barry, they're not only running against Trump, they're running against us, the American taxpaying citizen. They are doing everything in their power to screw the American taxpaying citizen. They support the criminals. They support the illegal aliens that don't belong here. And the worst of all is they really think that they're justified in forcing us to pay for these people. If that isn't a lack of justice, I don't know what is. Who are they to tell us that we have to pay for these people that don't belong here and then lie to us and say, "Oh, this country was made by this country was uh formed by um immigrants." Yeah. Legal immigrants. And like we've all talked about and everyone talks about, we're all for legal immigration, but there is a huge difference between legal immigration when you go through the the hoops and you do everything correctly uh to illegal. And then I heard you today talking about getting a job at Market Basket, you have to speak Spanish. I was in Market Basket in uh Fall River yesterday and I went to the deli counter and there were three people behind the counter. two Spanish Guatemalans and one American. And the Spanish people were speaking in Spanish to each other. And the American woman looked like a deer in the headlights. And I laughed. I said, "Talk about feeling like uh like you're you're in another country, like you're a stranger in your own country." >> I got to tell you, I shopped in I shopped in Market Basket and on Saturday in Attelboro and what a completely different world. It's like a whole different universe >> and everybody spoke English >> big way >> and you know I mean the they had plenty of food you know for example let me just give you one example I haven't been able to find strawberries at the market basket in New Bedford since I can remember tons of strawberries and they were all beautiful nice strawberries but I mean it was a whole different environment and I said wow this is how a supermarket should be run I'd forgotten how well-run a supermarket can be and there was Nobody blocking the aisles, putting stuff out and and things like that. >> Barry, I showed you. I told you when I went there when they didn't have their SNAP benefits, the aisles were empty and everyone in there was speaking English. There was no one in the store and the people that were in there were speaking English and they were all paying for their groceries. So, different market baskets are different. But, I mean, you know, I'm really going to call corporate and find out if that's true or go there and pretend I want to fill out an application. I'll tell you something. If they tell me I need to speak English, I'm going to rip somebody's head off. But what I'm going to do too is I'll let you know and if Big Y comes to town, hopefully Big Y will have just as good a prices. And if that's the case, we all need to jump ship and go to Big Y because we're going to have two new Big Wise because if they are telling people that you have to speak Spanish to work in America, I have a big problem with that. But I wanted to give you an update on um the you know how I work right next to the wind the wind turbines. I talked to a couple of guys. They should be packing up by January 1st. They got two more units to go back out there. But here's here's the the the best headline. I talked to the guy and they they get out of there. They pack up and leave, but they're already having problems with some of the units and that'll be taken care of by a different set of people. They're already having mechanical problems out there with the summer that's winter that they put out there. So, just a just a little heads up of what's going on over there. So, they should be packing up by J. They said by January for us. We'll see. >> What What do you mean packing up though? Just packing up and and stopping. >> Oh, no. Where? Yeah. all the uh all the equipment that's there that's going to be all gone. You know, they're going to be packed up. It's going to be empty. There's going to be nobody there. That's what the guy was telling me that that's a whole set different crew that puts all the units together. You know what I mean? I sent, you know, gets them wired up and then they put on the boat and then they send them out there to be assembled out there. That's all they do over there. The the um the electrician union guys. And I didn't get what their titles were, but I know there's electrical union over there obviously because they got to tie it in and everything. And they got the big turbine unit there that they uh you know have to put all the blades into and all that. But yeah, they're going to be packing up by >> So what what goes there next? What goes on on that site next? >> I have no idea. I didn't get the thing. He was kind of in a hurry, so I didn't get too much detail other than that. Yeah, >> that's what they I've been hearing that for a little while now. But this this last guy, I talked to him on Monday and as you can see, I have, you know, uh, you know, raspy voice because I caught a little bit of a cold, but that's what's going on. They're having problems with the turbine, uh, the turbines out there in in the some of the units already. I I didn't get into detail, like I said, because he was in a hurry and that's that's about it. But about what Michelle Woo is doing, 13% hike on property tax. Yeah. Shifting it from business, I I believe business to homeowners, right? If I if I remember correctly. >> Yes. Yes. I heard that earlier today. I don't know if you talked about it for a little while, you know. >> Yeah. But I just I'm stay away from all the >> Michelle Woo has um handed out 4.5 million needles to drug dealers under her watch. So I I guess you got to come up with the money to pay for that, right? >> Yeah. I I I guess you you were talking to I'm with Kathy or whatever talking about Mory Healey like I don't think it's the people that's uh low I mean they are low information voters but they don't care Barry they don't care it's liberal mindset if it's a Republican they they look at a Republican especially now as uh a Trump uh drawn at the hip republic >> well that's because they're low information voters they they they don't have all the information and they don't bother to try to get it they don't Well, they're lazy. They're lazy. They know. They probably know. Some of them probably know. And heard that clip of her saying about the two gas pipelines, right? She cut them off or whatever. She She stopped them. How can you get away with a video? Like the Republicans need to do a better job of putting this information out. I don't know how they're going to do it. That's not my expertise, obviously. But they need to do a better job because look what happened in Tennessee. that yes, the guy won, but that was a district that Donald Trump won by what, 22 points, and the guy won by nine or eight or nine, which is, you know, still a significant uh amount, but you get some competitive ones. The Republicans need to do a better job at campaigning and getting these other people out, not just on uh n for the presidency to to voting. they need to get it for the, you know, for governor, senators, reps, all that, you know, and then we can work on, you know, counselors and all that. I mean, that still should be going on anyway from the bottom up. But, you know, these these these voting um the Republicans need to do a better job of of campaigning and and getting their message across. That's that's all I want to tell you, Barry. Republicans, my voice is kind of driven. >> Yeah. They they've never been good at messaging at all and and and they haven't gotten a lot better. Um, thank you uh for the call. You know, the problem with with Christmas music, and I love Christmas music, is there only so many songs and everybody puts out a Christmas album, right? And you know, usually when you see an artist put out a Christmas album, it means that they have um they still have not um met their contractual obligation uh for producing albums. You know, for example, so and so may be signed to a contract and you're going to do uh five albums over four years or whatever. And they're like almost at the end and it's like, damn, what am I going to do? I haven't gotten any new material written. Ah, let's do a Christmas album. That's easy to do. So, every artist has a Christmas album out pretty much. And um and that's why that's factual. You can take that to the bank, by the way. And um so they record the same songs. I mean, almost everybody and if if they put songs in that you don't know, a lot of times you don't want to listen to them, right? You just skip to the ones you do know. Um but there are a lot of good Christmas songs that are out there that that become uh you know, things like, for example, um Christmas time. There was in Charlie Brown Christmas. I mean, that was not a big hit or a Christmas song. It's one of the most favorite Christmas songs out there. Uh Vince Galdi wrote it and uh it was great. It's a great song. But so I mean you can find some some new songs like that too that people write. I've been trying to do that this year. I've been trying to find some newer songs and newer versions of songs [snorts] and um so it's not the same old thing and the same old people. I don't know if I can hear I if I I don't know if I can stomach rocking around the Christmas tree this year. I I'm just I just had it with that and and and so many of those same songs. Right.
