Downtown New Bedford's newest restaurant Smashed is now serving up smash burgers, jumbo chicken tenders and more on Pleasant Street.

Quick work by the New Bedford Police Department led to the arrest of a Dartmouth man early Tuesday, moments after he smashed the front window of Barry's Liquors with a brick before stealing items from the store.

Popular downtown eatery dNB Burgers was vandalized again Monday.
