The Baker-Polito Administration has reached an agreement with the City of New Bedford to fund the planning process for further dredging of the city's harbor.

Two SouthCoast communities are getting funds to help repair or replace some bridges. Mattapoisett will receive $500,000 to replace a bridge on Acushnet Road over the Mattapoisett River. Wareham will also receive $500,000 to rehabilitate the Elm Street Bridge that has been closed since June of 2014...

The Baker-Politio administration is awarding nearly $800,000 in federal grant money to help towns and organizations protect water quality in Buzzards Bay. The Buzzard's Bay Coalition has recieved a lion's share of the grants - $200,000 - to partner with Wareham, Bourne, Plymouth, and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy to evaluate the feasability of moving the Wareham Wastewater Treatment Facility.
