New Bedford's annual Point-In-Time Count begins this week, and volunteers are needed.

The New Bedford 2018 Point-In-Time Count will take place this coming Wednesday, January 24, and run for 24 hours, as volunteers take a count of the sheltered and unsheltered homeless living in New Bedford.

This is something that most of us are not aware of. Each year there is a Point-In-Time count of the number of homeless persons in New Bedford.
