Member's of New Bedford's Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau have smashed a marijuana growing operation. The investigation led police to the 2nd and 3rd floor apartments at 608 Summer Street. Detectives carried out a search warrant Wednesday night, arresting two suspects and finding in the second floor apartment, 39 marijuana plants, a 22 caliber Ruger rifle loaded with 14 rounds of ammunitio
