U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren is spending part of the August congressional recess making stops around the Commonwealth.

Mass. Attorney General Martha Coakley is filing suit against the National Oceanic and Atmospheric  Administration, saying the agency has shown "callous disregard for the well being of New England Fishermen."  Coakley says new groundfish regulations that went into effect on May 1st, failed to take into account the financial impact on fishing families and communities...

Mass. Governor Deval Patrick sent letters to Washington this week, asking federal officials to come to the aid of New England fishermen.  The Governor is asking the chairs of both the House and Senate Budget Committees to include federal disaster aid for fishermen in their fiscal 2014 budgets...
