Lady of the Dunes

The district attorney has closed the investigation into the death of Ruth Marie Terry, better known for decades as Provincetown's 'Lady of the Dunes.'

Now that the "Lady of the Dunes" has been identified, authorities are seeking info about a man she married shortly before her body was found in Provincetown.

FBI and other law enforcement officials have announced the identity of a murder victim known as the 'Lady of the Dunes,' a woman found dead on Cape Cod in 1974 — the oldest unidentified homicide victim in the state.
