Everything you need to know to help Fun 107, WBSM and the United Way of Greater New Bedford collect enough food for 1,000 meals.

The United Way's goal is to put together 1,000 'kid meal packs' to provide young people with something nutritious to eat during vacation week.

Donors can simply drive up to Aldi at the Dartmouth Mall and volunteers will be ready to take your donation for the Hunger Heroes Food Drop from your car.

The United Way of Greater New Bedford's Hunger Heroes Food Drop is scheduled for Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Dartmouth Aldi store.

For the 30th year, we will be at Buttonwood Park to collect food donations to benefit United Way of Greater New Bedford.

We’ll be collecting items to serve school-aged children of the SouthCoast nutritious packaged meals and snacks to keep them fed over school vacation week.

The New Bedford Starchasers help raise up the vibrations of the SouthCoast community, as they did this past Saturday at the Hunger Heroes Food Drop.
