All of us have a great capacity for taking things for granted. Sometimes it takes a special event, like an operation, to wake up from only to realize what you actually have in your life.

We all need a break from the stress of daily life. If you want a few minutes of pure enjoyment and laughs, then you'll want to check out this video of a panhandler on the New York City subway. It's not your typical type of pan handling, and really sheds some light on how we all could use a little bit of help.

I was amazed when I first saw this video! Johnny Mathis takes his song title literally, singing one single note for over a minute. He is oddly reminiscent of Mr. Trololo.

The 'news' broke today about a new online petition to make the Miley Cyrus song 'Party in the USA' the next national anthem for our great country.

As we turn our clocks ahead this weekend and lose an hour of sleep, my thoughts went to ways of waking the heavy sleepers in our lives.

I don't know if it's the high definition televisions or what, but ever since we have had one in my house my dog is always watching TV.  I have never noticed this before we got the Hi-Def set, she loves to watch when there are other animals on screen and she will jump up and try to catch what ever runs by, it is pretty entertaining.

Whenever we have a storm on the way, people head to the grocery store and buy bread and milk.  Why do we run for bread and milk?
