Mayor Jon Mitchell and representatives from Deepwater Wind announced plans to establish a significant construction and long-term operations center in the city on Friday.

NEW BEDFORD - Offshore wind company Deepwater Wind officially opened their Massachusetts office downtown Friday afternoon.

Deepwater Wind announced on Tuesday that they would be opening an office 555 Pleasant St., on the top floor of the Standard-Times building in downtown New Bedford.
