Dartmouth House of Correction

Bristol County Sheriff Paul Heroux announced a plan to install air conditioning in all housing units at the Bristol County House of Correction in Dartmouth.

About 50 demonstrators made their case outside Ash Street Jail in New Bedford.

Some 65 or so volunteers were honored Wednesday at a luncheon sponsored by Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson.
