The age old "curfew" topic came up again with the New Bedford City Council. On the surface, I would tend to agree that curfews, in general, can violate one's basic rights.
The New Bedford City Council voted to draft an ordinance allowing police to enforce curfews in high crime "hot spots" in the city even as some councilors expressed reservations about whether the policy would be constitutional.
