Concerned about local involvment in environmental projects, the president of C.L.E.A.N. is leading environmental justice representatives on a tour of New Bedford's contaminated sites.
The "toxic tour" will be led Wednesday by Eddie Johnson, with reps from the Toxics Action Center and the Conservation Law Foundation viewing the Parker Street Waste Site and the dredging of the New Bedford
Nearly half-a-million dollars is being handed to New Bedford to go towards cleaning up brownfield sites.
