Boat Crash

A 47-foot vessel went down Sunday afternoon after striking a reef, and four people who jumped into the water were rescued by a Good Samaritan.

The department said it wants to remind people that boating while drunk is a crime.

Eight people ranging in age from 14 to 24 were on the boat that crashed in darkness off Cadmans Neck.

Another person injured in a Taunton boat crash has died.
