Attempted Abduction

New Bedford Police are seeking information after a man allegedly tried to lure a five-year-old child away from a city park.

**UPDATE: According to the Herald News, Fall River Police say woman who reported attempted abduction has mental health issues, and 'may have been mistaken'. Police are no longer investigating and the case is closed.**

Fall River Police have arrested man in connection with a Friday evening assault of an 18-year-old woman outside the Tedeschi's on 28 East Main Street.
