Good news for Sox fans. It looks like short stop Stephen Drew will be ready to go in time for the regular season, they just aren't sure when.

According to ESPN, Drew was evaluated by the University of Pittsburgh medical center, and returned to training camp on Thursday. However GM Ben Cherington isn't sure he's ready to return to playing.

We'll probably have a better sense of that by the end of the weekend, but we're starting to fight the calendar a little bit. We don't want him to be in a situation where he's having to rush at-bats by a certain date. But generally, it was good news and he's headed in the right direction.

Drew passed the online testing protocol laid out by the MLB for concussions, and they think if he continues this way he could only miss one regular season game, the opener.
