Seekonk Citizens Bank Robbed

Police in Seekonk are investigating a bank robbery that occurred earlier this morning.

According to WPRI News, the robbery took place at the Citizens Bank inside the Rt 6 Stop and Shop.

The suspect allegedly passed a note to the teller, claiming he had a weapon. The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'7", wearing a camouflage shirt, and a wig under a baseball cap.

Witnesses say the suspect fled in an older model vehicle.

Seekonk Police continue to investigate the robbery.
