The Registry of Motor Vehicles is tweaking business hours at six of its branches across the state.

The six branches have been opening at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. since 2010, but the RMV says they haven't really had much business in the early hour.

So beginning September 9th, they'll be returning to a 9 a.m.-5 p.m. schedule four days a week with a late opening and closing on Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

According to the Daily Journal, the branches affected are Brockton, Lawrence, Milford, Springfield, Taunton and Worcester.
