One Person Injured In New Bedford Shooting

One person was taken to St. Luke's Hospital following a shooting Friday night in the near-North End.

Police were called to an area near 164 Sawyer Street around 8pm after getting reports of gunfire.  Police told WBSM News, people in two cars were involved.

One person was taken to the hospital but his condition is unknown.  More details are expected later today.
