Ahhh, the sweet sound of the ice cream truck rolling down your street, offering the best of the best when it comes to 1990s nostalgia.

We're talking screwballs, snow cones, push pops, anything with gumball eyes (Ninja Turtles, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc.) and of course, the beloved Choco Taco.

This delicious treat was part of our childhood but was sadly discontinued in July of 2022. However, one New Bedford restaurant has created its own Choco Taco that rivals, and dare I say, blows the nostalgic '90s treat out of the water.

First off, the thing is HUGE! It features cookies and cream ice cream inside of it, way better than the vanilla with fudge swirl inside the original, yet still holding true to the flavor we know and love.

If you want a taste of nostalgia and a delicious treat to cap off the night, I highly recommend National Club's Choco Taco. It does not disappoint.
