Two of the biggest pro wrestling stars on the planet are coming to New Bedford in the coming months, but they’re each coming for different reasons.

All Elite Wrestling stars Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho will each be making appearances at The Vault, the downtown venue that has become one of the true gems of live entertainment in the city. The two are currently among the top talents in AEW, after long and successful careers in WWE, and are highlighted each week on AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage.

Danielson is coming to The Vault on June 5, appearing for a special autograph signing event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. His appearance is a joint venture of Purchase Street Records, Cojo’s Toy World, and Rhode Island Comic Con. Tickets must be purchased in advance at BigEventNY.com. As a side note, Cojo's co-owner Ted "Teddy Goodz" Bolduc is no stranger to the ring, having recently wrestled himself for both AEW and WWE.

Meanwhile, AEW’s first “Le Champion,” Chris Jericho, will be appearing with his rock band Fozzy on October 3. “The Wizard” has always been a master of reinventing himself in the ring, but Fozzy has been steadily becoming one of the world’s top rock bands over the past 20 years. They’ll be out in support of their recently-released album Boombox. Also appearing that night will be special guests No Resolve and GFM.

General public on sale for Fozzy is scheduled for this Friday. Ticket prices are $30 for general admission, $40 for early general admission. Tickets will be available on The Vault website.

Of course, Jericho is no stranger to our area, having previously visited to investigate the paranormal happenings in the Bridgewater Triangle.

Paranormal Activity Reported in Massachusetts' Bridgewater Triangle

In his 1983 book Mysterious America, cryptozoologist Loren Coleman introduced a term he originally coined in the late 1970s – the Bridgewater Triangle – to describe an area with an abnormal level of paranormal activity and high strangeness in Southeastern Massachusetts. Over the years, the concept of the Triangle has expanded to include ghostly reports, UFO sightings, cryptid encounters, alien abductions and more across a wider swath of Southern New England.
