Mass. Ranks 13th in Country For Doing Business

Massachusetts is moving up in the Forbes Magazine list of the best states to do business. The Bay State ranked number 13 this year, up 4 spots from 2012.

Forbes says costs are exceptionally high in Massachusetts, but top-notch universities provide an educated workforce. Massachusetts attracts the second-most venture capital in the US, second only to California.

Virginia topped the list this year, and Maine came in dead last.
