While the two suspects were on the run for their involvement in the Boston Marathon bombings, the suspects' father was speaking out in their defense. He would later change his tune.

In earlier interviews the father of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev said that his sons were 'innocent', and that they were 'angels'. Obviously in disbelief that this sort of thing could happen to his family.

Later, Anzor Tsarnaev told ABC News that he had spoken to his sons earlier in the week, and had even talked about the bombing, but he had no idea of their involvement. When he received word that his younger son had been captured, he encouraged him to honest and tell the police everything.
