Sixth grade students at Keith Middle School heard from several speakers Wednesday during a "Your Future, Your Decision" forum sponsored by District Attorney Sam Sutter.

Speakers suggested students should think twice before texting hurtful photos or messages to others because those messages don't go away.

Students were also urged to have the courage to follow their dreams and walk away from gangs or criminal influences. Christian Berrios of Fall River didn't walk away, and found himself in jail several years ago...

Berrios gave up his life of drug dealing. He now counsel's young people for Family Services in Fall River.

Other speakers included Mayor Jon Mitchell, the District Attorney and staff members from his office, and U-S Attorney Carmen Ortiz.
