Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is able to watch his old team on television from behind bars.

The "Boston Herald" reports that Hernandez has been such a model inmate since transferring to Nashua Street Jail three months ago that he is allowed to watch Patriots games if he wants.

The 24-year-old is awaiting trial on three murder counts for two separate incidents.

Hernandez was also indicted on charges of assault and battery against a fellow inmate and threatening to shoot and kill a guard when he was previously being held at Bristol County Jail.  (Metro Networks Inc.)
