Both candidates in Massachusetts U.S. Senate race are touting new endorsements.
Democrat Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday picked up the backing of President Barack Obama, who said Warren will be ``a strong, tireless and determined advocate for the people of Massachusetts.''  The Democratic president also noted the Harvard Law School professor's role in creating a federal consumer watchdog agency.

Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown won the support of the union representing Massachusetts State Police troopers and a national organization representing state police officers.  The endorsements are the latest in a string for Brown from law enforcement groups. (Associated Press)
