A federal judge is allowing the bankruptcy case involving Curt Schilling's video gaming company to move from a court in Delaware to one in Rhode Island.

The Providence Journal reports that a judge in Wilmington granted a request by lawyers for the state of Rhode Island to move 38 Studios' bankruptcy proceedings to state court in Providence. Attorney Tom Carlotto says it will be cheaper to handle the legal matters in Rhode Island. The company laid off all of its employees in May and filed for bankruptcy in June.
