The work would begin in 2014, according to the Mass. Department of Transportation, but the plans will be available for public comment at a meeting next Tuesday. 6pm at the Lawler Library.  Ward Five Councilor Jane Gonsalves says she hasn't seen the plans, but she's well aware that work needs to be done.

The new intersection will include four travel lanes on Brownell Avenue, plus a turning lane.  There will be seven travel lanes on Route 140 --- four southbound and three northbound.  Officials say more than 26,000 cars pass thru that intersection every day.
