Battleship Cove Gets Ready For More Visitors

If you have been dying to get out to Battleship Cove, then Friday August 1oth is your your day.

If you are a history enthusiast, or just like to look at war memorabilia, Battleship Cove is a place for you. This summer, you'll be able to visit this great Fall River spot on that Friday, and it will be free. That's right free.

It's called Free Fun Friday, and it's put on by the Boston Museum program and the Highland Street Foundation.  According to sales manager Paula Hague, Battleship Cove can usually see around 600 people on a nice day. They expect to see attendance go way beyond that.

You can take part in Free Fun Friday on August 10th.
