Al-Qaeda Releases Video of Kidnapped American

An American al-Qaeda captive is appealing for help and saying he feels abandoned by his country.

In a video released on Christmas, contractor Warren Weinstein calls on the Obama administration to negotiate with his captors to secure his release. Footage obtained by the "Washington Post" shows the bearded 72-year old Maryland government contractor asking President Obama to step up efforts to win his release.

Weinstein was kidnapped by terrorists in 2011 while working in Pakistan.
