Zeiterion Exec. Director “Thrilled” With Mayor’s Plan

The Executive Director of the Zeiterion Theater in New Bedford is applauding Mayor Jon Mitchell's plan to put the "Z" on solid financial footing. 

The Mayor has suggested both long and short term strategies that include the use of city funds, private donations and a contribution from the state to keep the performing arts center operating and maintained. 

He also wants to request proposals to manage the operation, and work out a long term contract.
