Just recently, we had a cow on I-195, but how would you react if a deer jumped out of nowhere? Would you object to seeing signs like this on the Southcoast?

A sign in Iowa has been causing some controversy lately.

According to Fox 6, “those who have driven past the sign say it’s hard not to take a second look. The unusual deer crossing warning has popped up on Highway 105 in Mitchell County, Iowa, just outside of Saint Ansgar.”

Stan Walk, a Mitchell County Board Supervisor stated that the intention for the sign was not to cause controversy.

However, others feel that there is a better way to remind motorists that a deer may jump into their path.
