The 2013 World Series continues to be one filled with indelible memories.  Last night, Jonny Gomes credited an inspiration dugout speech from David Ortiz that flamed him to hit a tiebreaking 3 run homer in the 6th inning.  As luck would have it, Gomes wasn't even supposed to be playing in the game, he was inserted into the starting lineup after Shane Victorino was a late scratch with a flared up back problem.

Big Papi's dugout speech was brief, but effective.  A spinoff of his famous Boston Strong words following the Boston Marathon bombings.  "This is our (censored) Series.".

The game was capped off by yet another "first".  Following a Game Three that ended with a controversial obstruction call, Koji Uehara caught Cardinals pinch runner Kolten Wong leaning the wrong way.  It was the first game ending pickoff in the history of the World Series.  Why not?  That's the way this entire series has been written.

This World Series is all tied up at 2 games apiece.  The series will return to Boston for Game Six on Wednesday night.
