New Bedford's Working Waterfront Festival kicks off Saturday in and around the State Pier.   Admission is free, and there's plenty to enjoy, including whale boat races, tours of fishing vessels, children's activities, and seafood dinners under the big white tent.  Organizer Laura Orleans tells WBSM News, there's also a crafts show that people should enjoy.

Orleans says this year's festival also has a dose of "Reality TV"

The two day festival also features cooking demonstrations, a skills competition for fishermen and much more.  The Blessing of the Fleet is scheduled for Sunday at 1pm.  There's free parking at the Elm Street Garage with a shuttle service to the waterfront.
