Woman Rescued From Fiery Crash In Bourne

A 63-year old woman was taken to the hospital early Sunday after the car she was driving crashed into a utility pole and caught fire.

Bourne Police say the crash happened just after 5am on Sandwich Road, near the entrance to the Upper Cape Regional Technical High School.

According to Police, a male bystander pulled the woman from the burning car.  She was taken to Falmouth Hospital. Her condition is unknown.

Police say the woman will be charged with operating to endanger and failure to stay in marked lanes.
