Woman Injured In Crash At Wareham McDonald’s

A 63 year old woman is hospitalized in Boston following a one-car crash Wednesday afternoon in Wareham.

Police Chief Kevin Walsh tells WBSM News, the woman's car struck the corner of the drive-through area at McDonald's on Cranberry Highway.  Chief Walsh says the woman may have experienced a medical issue which caused the crash.

Police and fire personnel responded, and transported the woman to Tobey Hospital for treatment of a head injury.

She was later transported by Med-Flight to a Boston-area Hospital for further treatment.

The building sustained moderate damage, according to Walsh.  Police have not released her name.
