A woman being sought in connection with a Saturday afternoon stabbing in Fall River has turned herself into police.

Gregg Miliote, a spokesman with the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, says 37-year-old Adrienne Brown turned herself into Fall River Police Monday morning.

Brown was being sought in connection with the stabbing death of 53-year-old Brian Jones.

Fall River Police received a call shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday that a man had been stabbed outside 477 Third St.

Upon arrival first responders found Jones's body and transported him to St Anne's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Miliote says an autopsy will be conducted by the State Medical Examiner's Office.

Brown will be arraigned Monday in Fall River District Court.
