Update 1/21 8:40am - The Southcoast has been moved to a Winter Weather Advisory. The National Weather Service has issued this for Southern Bristol County from 4pm Monday afternoon to 10am Tuesday morning. Most areas can expect 2-4 inches, while some areas on the Southcoast will see 3-6 inches.

Right now forecasters are predicting 4-8 inches of snow to fall in the Eastern area of Massachusetts. As of right now this is just a watch, since the storm could take a turn. If it's further off the shore we will see less snow, and if it comes inland that's when things could get messy. The Southcoast may see some more snow.

Late Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning is when this snow could hit, so be prepared. As of right now, New Bedford and the Southcoast just has a Wind Advisory. Stay up to date with the latest weather right here at WBSM.com.
