I knew last winter that this winter was going to be a long one.  Last winter if you recall we had mild temperatures, very little snow and an early spring.  This year what a difference, a blizzard, lost power for day's and lots of snow!  I don't know about you but I'm ready for spring!  I just took a walk around my yard and the first signs of spring are starting to pop up, the tulip's and the daffodils are starting to emerge.  I also noticed that my yard is a total mess and there are hundreds of branches that need to be picked up and trees that will need some pruning.  I have to admit I am looking forward to doing yard work, it's not often I feel that way but I'm ready to get out in the yard and get things cleaned up!  I know in a few weeks the weather of this winter will be nothing but a memory and a few dirty snow mounds in parking lots.  Then it wont be long until we start complaining about how hot the summer is!  We will just have to remind ourselves that we live in New England and that's just how it is!  Oh, yea, don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour this weekend, another sign warmer weather is on the way.
