If you are currently planning a wedding, you've probably already figured out how expensive saying "I do" can be.

One major expense is the wedding dress. While some are able to find their dream gown without breaking the bank, others aren't so lucky. That's why Dorothy Cox wants to help one Southcoast bride-to-be look beautiful on her big day at a MAJOR fraction of the cost. The story behind the dress: a woman donated it to the Women's Center of New Bedford in hopes that a raffle could help raise money for the organization.

This Oleg Cassini gown originally retailed at David's Bridal for $1,600 back in 2013. We found the same exact dress and size at PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com on sale for $700 today. Not only could you win this gorgeous gown, but it comes with a sash ($100) and a headpiece ($80).

Size: 10
Color: Ivory / Sand
Silhouette: A-line
Neckline: V-neck
Straps: Sheer
Length: Floor Length
Train: Chapel

Each raffle ticket costs $10, or you can buy 3 for $25 at 119 Alden Road in Fairhaven. All proceeds benefit the Women's Center in New Bedford. They will draw a winner on Friday, March 31st. Best to have your entries in by 5 pm.

PS - even though it's a size 10, you could definitely look into alterations since you are saving so much on purchasing your gown. So don't overlook the opportunity!
